RFDC Mascoutah Office

Steven Pritchett, MD

Diplomat of American Board of Family Practice

I was born and raised in Mascoutah, IL. After graduating from Mascoutah High School, my B.A. in biology was earned at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale in 1993. In 1997 I completed medical school at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Springfield, Illinois. From there, I finished my medical training with SIU Family Medicine Residency at Carbondale Memorial Hospital in 2000. I maintain board certification with the NBME and am a Diplomat of the American Board of Family Practice.

I am excited to offer Rural Family Direct Care to my patients. I feel this allows us to return to a time when patient care was the focus of family medicine without the burdens of insurance interference. Clear communication is essential and Direct Care allow us to interact in ways that are most convenient for you. I am only a text, call or email away.

On a personal note…

I met my wife, Joan, during residency and we reside in Mascoutah with our two sons, Alex and Nickolaus. When I’m not working or spending time with my family, I enjoy riding motorcycles.
